Pont-l'Évêque / 400g / Cow/Raw/Animal Rennet /Soft brushed/ Normandie / 22% fat /Barn smell, lactic, meaty, grassy, persistant tangy taste.

Our cheese has been known under the name Pont-l'Évêque since the 17th century. First known as Augelot, it took its name from the small town of Pont-l'Évêque, between Lisieux and Deauville, in the Pays d 'Auge, a region particularly rich in fatty pastures. The cheese expresses all the generosity of this land very favorable to dairying.

Pont-l'Évêque goes perfectly with dry red wine such as a good Saint-Émilion, a red Saumur, a Morgon, a Moulin-à-Vent or even a Saumur-Champigny.
